Hi!
My PC rig consists of:
Motherboard - ASUS P5k DELUXE (MOBO)
RAM - Kingston HyperX 1066Mhz (DDR2)
PSU - LC600H-12 (600WATT)
GPU - ASUS R9 270X DirectCU2 TOP (2GB)
And finally:

CPU - Q9550S (65WATT)
CPU cooler - Samurai ZZ rev.B (2500RPM)
However I am planning on upgrading to a Grand Kama Cross 2 in a month or two.

My question is if:

1: Is it worth it? My current "Samurai ZZ Rev.B has 55.55CFM with 3 heat-pipes, whilst the Grand Kama Cross 2 has 99.93 CFM and 4 heat-pipes...

2: Has anyone else been OCing a Q9550S, what have you gotten it to? What cooler were you using? What are your specs and all that...

Any suggestions or help on OCing this CPU is appreciated!!!

I would not put money towards a better cooler but rather a newer CPU/Mobo/RAM swap.

Looks like that cooler is about $50 that is almost a motherboard or about 8 gig of RAM right there.

Leave things as they are, put the $50 towards a platform upgrade. You have a video card that can easily scale to an AMD FX6300 / Intel i3 or i5.

The thing is I only have a 50 EUR budget and I will for about the next year or maybe 2, I wont be investing in a complete new gaming rig anytime soon... :C

As much as I wish I could....

This board however was made to overclock and I think its about time to see it put trough its paces 😛
