My system seems to hang roughly every three hours...not exactly the biggest problem, but I thought I'd let you know. I think I heard someone else with this problem...maybe I'll go down to 950...still if I ever sell my system...<EVIL LAUGH>

My T-Bird 800 is being shipped with a Abit KT7. Will I have to open or expose anything in order to connect the L1 bridges?? Also the mechanical pencil referred to; is it just a graphite (lead) pencil???

sandman, you do have to take off the chip from the motherbaord in order to pencil it. it seems like he is saying that is coming already seated with the heatsink/fan on. i could be wrong, but in order to pencil it, you almost have to take it out of the motherboard

If at first you don't succeed, skydiving isn't for you.

If you should by chance get the graphite from the pencil too thick and you get crossed connections on the L1 bridges, what is a safe way to try and remove the excess?

Haven't run into this yet, but I've just tried the pencil trick and didn't get enough graphite on to make the connections at all yet. My Abit Kt7Raid Tbird 800 won't post to anything above 800 regardless of multiplier/speed setting attempts.
