no multiplier or fsb options on my POS Compaq motherboard, new motherboard as soon as finances allow, so don't tell me to buy a new mobo :)
anyways, do I need to close the L1 bridges or just the bridges that set the multiplier itself?
I'm trying a simple one, set the 1ghz to 1.1, should be easy enough and there is a good chance of it working, IF I can ever get the damn thing to change the multiplier, I've tried the pencil trick, apparently I don't have the right pencil, I'm going to get a defogger pen soon, they're just usefull as hell anyway...
anyway, trying to change the mult on my Tbird, is it my pencil or do I need to close the L1 as well as the L6 bridges for the actual multiplier setting?

why, oh WHY, is the world run by morons?

L1 bridges unlocks the multiplier for mobo control. close all the multipliers on the L6 bridge should give you 11x multiplier. Hope this is helpful
