Overclocking Voltage Issues

My first time oc where the computer turned on after wards
i was clocking by my friends standards and some random articles
so....
I could succefully run 4.5ghz on auto vcore but auto in cpuid was spiking up past 2v and temps of 84C (100% load) which i think is horrible
so i did some custom vcore and i gave up
currently am sitting at 4ghz @ 1.26v (51c on 100%load) (bios) but cpu-z is saying its 1.188v at 100% load (prime blend)
so I am wondering why cpu-z and biosare different by .8v when idle cpu-z says it is running at the 1.26v

and my specs are
I7-2600k
gigabyte z77x board

Bios Settings (v18/newest)
and all settings are stock all i changed in bios was:
Cpu multiplier V-core
and then I turned off intels intergrated graphics and intels turbo core

Software
Windows Pro WMC (newest version)
Cpu-Z 1.62 x64 (newest)
Prime 95 x64 (newest)
Corsair Link 2 H100I firmware (newest version)

It is called Vdroop. When you are in the bios, you dont have everything running. When you have the system running, it draws extra power from the power supply. This causes a voltage drop across. Thus, while you have the system running, you see the extra voltage drop.

edit: Also, when you are overclocking, use the readings you get while the computer is running, and not in the bios.

It happens with every motherboard. The capacitors on the mobo aren't big enough to handle the pull on the mobo. You just have to get a feel and adjust your voltage as necessary to keep your IN SYSTEM voltage high enough.
