well its not overheating, i think it could be a driver issue, download the latest beta drivers (13.8) and driver fusion.

uninstall current driver and dont restart.
run driver fusion amd driver cleaner then restart.
install driver as custom and only install the display and hdmi driver.

see if this helps.

Where do i get those drivers?

Worked perfectly fine, up until just now when it happened again in the middle of a ranked match on League of Legends

Edit: i updated the thread, see above for PC specs

i would get rid of avast it is a terrible system hog and can cause all sorts of strange problems and system slowdowns.

personally i have removed it from many computers and it has fixed all sorts of problems simply by removing it.

i would also run ccleaner file cleaner then the registry cleaner multiple times after removing it.

replace it with avg or commodo instead.

Tried to update my bios but ASUSUpdate says that it only works on ASUS motherboards, well I HAVE AN ASUS MOTHERBOARD....

How do i enter the BIOS? :/

I don't get a Motherboard Logo screen with any guidance. I just get a black screen with a line of text in the upper left corner, tell me if you need to know what it says... I don't really know cause it shows for 1 sec. Something about Gigabit and ethernet.

EDIT: When i press F2 it just asks if i want to run "Windows 7" or "Windows Memorytreatment" <- translated from norwegian
