Overheating (HUGE PROBLEM)

Okay. So around 2 weeks ago, I got a new PSU + CPU. They were supposed to make my PC better, yet that's not the case. About 2 MONTHS ago, I got a GPU. I hadn't even had one before. I bought it slightly used from a good friend. The night I got the new CPU and PSU installed I decided to take my new rig for a spin. BF3, which lasted 2 hours until the PC reset it's self. First time it overheated, it showed a tan screen with black lines, then I had to manually reset it. 2nd time my monitor just 100% turned off, flashed on, said "No Signal" then back off it went. Help me, Tom's Hardware, you're my only hope!

Your temps are not bad. Mine runs at like 70-80C but that is fine for my GPU. You got about another 20C before you need to worry about negative affects to your specific GPU.

53C is not a bad temp. Not when all cores are working at 100%. 74C is max recommended operating temp.
I had that cooler once. Not a bad little cooler. Mine lasted until the fan bearing went out.

I'm still upgrading it. Nah-Nah-Nah- Boo-boo.
