Hi, i have dell inspiron 5559 laptop
spec: intel core i5 - amd r5 m335 - 8gb ram - 500 gb hard disk
while gaming i noticed that the cpu temp is getting close to 90c and the gpu temp is 70+c causing fps drop so i cleaned the dust from both cpu and gpu and put a new thermal paste
after that the cpu works perfectly and the temp becomes 70c -80c while gaming but the gpu temp becomes too high it now becomes 90+c, i open the laptop hardware again and tried to see if anything wrong but there was nothing so what the problem here ? is this temp safe ? what is max temp of the gpu ?

Short answer: NO. 90c is not safe at all. That is almost 200 degrees F.

What surface are you setting the laptop on? Heat absorbing materials like cotton are not great for your laptop, while non-heat absorbing surfaces like wood will usually be fine.

Are the fans running? If not, then obviously your laptop isn't staying cool.
