no, its more like Intel themselves said the P4 is NOT their 7x86 processor a few months ago.
Its not a 6x86, and I suppose if you want to get picky it is the 7x86, but Intel corrected a few articles/interviews in which the P4 was referred to as the 7th generation processor.
