My MB no longer posts after flashing to the latest 1018 official BIOS. All
attempts to revive it have failed. I know I need the SN for the RMA, but I
do not possess the box the MB came in. Is the SN imprinted somewhere on the
board itself?

There used to be an old trick you could do but I dont know if it works on
all boards

Here is a link for one of the boards it did work on.......what have you got
to lose now?

Usually, you can see a note glued onto the printer port; on
the note is the printed serial number of the board.

If you open the case, it is inside, just next to where the back-side shield
shall be.

Hi,

you sure the board needs an RMA? I had a similar error with mine and it
turns out the graphics-card wasn't seated properly!

Did you try to clear CMOS and the regular stuff like that?
