I have a P4R800 with a 2.8E and 512 mb of dual channel memory, with 2
hard drives and 2 optical drives.

I have installed windows XP Home (Service Pack 1) and the drivers that
came with the motherboard, but It does not appear to have intstalled
the USB 2.0 drivers (there was an item with an exclamation mark in the
device manager) and it is using the Standard Dual Channel PCI IDE
controller. when I thought it should be using a bus master controller.
Does anyone know if there is a busmaster driver for this board or if
there is something special reauired in order to install the usb 2.0
drivers?

The 2.0 USB driver should be on your Asus disk.

There are no ATI 9100IGP busmaster drivers, that I have seen. Still not sure
why that is.

I was having various problems with my board and had to go to ATI site and
download all the new Catalyst drivers for the board. 4 in all - Gart driver,
Display driver, Lan driver & SMBus Driver.
If you decide to go this way and try, make sure you read the release not on
the page...you may have to disable the old before you install the new.
