P8h67m overclock failed kingston hyperx blu 1600mhz ram

hello sir
I have asus p8h67-m board and i have put kingston hyperx blu 1600mhz ram.but in bios its showing 1333 of ram speed and i tried to overclock it to 1600 but its showing that overclocking failed.so plz help me out
processor is intel 2nd gen 13 2100.

Odd. I have 2 2GB sticks of that on a Gigabyte Z68 mobo + i5-2500K. It runs @ 1600 MHz through the XMP profile, but I've actually got it OC'd to 1866 MHz right now.

The H67 chipset cannot use memory faster than 1333 speed. That is one of the disadvantages of H67 versus P67/Z68.

In other words, your system is working normally.

hey man how u doing, im trying to do the same thing with mine... overclock them to 1866, what voltage and timing are u using?
