I have my new rig together, just something odd I noticed. Twice now, in probably 50 reboots. The PC rebooted with a garbled / distored boot screen. It makes it all the way into windows, which displayed at what looks like 800x600 and 8 bit colors. I need only reboot the pc again and it boots back up normally. But still, its a little bothersum considering its a brand new build.

Im at work now, but when I go home. Im going to remove the video card... clean it up a bit better... and blow out the PCI-E slot. Im hoping its just not seated properly.. *shrug* The video card is only 1 year old..

Does this sound like a mobo issue? or Video card issue? Other then these 2 fluke boots, Ive had no issues with the build.. and its rock solid. Prime95 and IBT... for hours.

ASUS P8P67
i5 2500K @ 4.5Ghz 100x45
Kingston HyperX 1600Mhz
GTX460 MSi Talon Attack.

Thank you for any input!~

I reseated the video card. I also reinstalled the last approved Nvidia drivers. Previously I was using the BF3 beta drivers. So far so good. No issues in a week now. /crossing fingers
