Packard bell ipower g5800 processor upgrade

I have a Packard Bell ipower x3.0 ( g5800 ) and wondering if I can get better performance by
upgrading just the processor. Recently I had added more memory and a new graphics card
a sapphire amd radeon 7970.

The current processor is 2.8ghz i7 860

If possible what else needs to be done?

Your CPU is already quite good, why would you want to change it?
What are the rest of the specs of your pc?
What is it's main use?
You may get better results by upgrading RAM or something else...
