Hello,
I've been trying to solve this one for a while with no luck or improvement to be seen.
I am currently experiencing packet loss on a singular device within my network, This is only experienced when using the battle.net application or any games that utilize it.
The device in question is a desktop that is wired using Cat6E through a switch but I have removed the switch and the issue persists. The switch is now back in place.
The PC currently has the following components:
Ryzen 7 7800X3D
Gigabyte RTX3080Ti
Gigabyte B650 AORUS ELITE AX V2
However this issue was also present prior to upgrading to the X3D at which point it was:
ASUS PRIME B550-PLUS
Ryzen 7 3700x
Gigabyte RTX3080Ti
The connection in use is currently a 900/90 FTTC connection however again this was present on the old 350/50 FTTC connection
(Currently using the ISP router which was upgraded with the package upgrade)
Connected to this network:
2 PC's ( one of which is the effected device) both connected through separate TL-SG105E switches
2 Laptops - Wirelessly
A myriad of other wireless devices-
No other device has any issues and the impacted device only has an issue when using the battle.net software.
Using pingplotter I can see that it is reporting the loss at 192.168.0.1
However ping -t 8.8.8.8 and ping -t 192.168.0.1 were running alongside this and I saw request timeouts to 8.8.8.8 and consistent 1ms replies from 192.168.0.1
