More info?)
Hi, Linda.
That depends.
How many drives do you have? Is this the current page file, or a left-over
after you've created a new page file on a different drive? Why do you want
(or need) to delete it?
Win2K does need to have a page file; it might run without one, but not well.
To manage your page file, go to System Properties | Advanced | Performance |
Advanced and check the Virtual Memory settings. (I'm running WinXP and
haven't worked with the Win2K screens in a couple of years; as I recall, the
steps and wording are slightly different, but you should be able to find
your way.)
If you post some specifics about your computer (drives, memory, etc.), we
can probably give more specific advice.
