When printing triplicate (carbonless) checks the 2nd and 3rd copies are so LIGHT as be almost unreadable. I have adjusted for paper thickness. What else can I do to get a firmer strike-through and darker print??
You might need the print head replaced. Or, you need to purchase a different brand of check with a better carbon-less coating or thinner paper.
Actually, this KX-P2023 is brand new and my 2nd one. I'm using the same checks I've always used and they printed better on the last KX-P2023....that's why this is so puzzling!!
That is strange. Has any thing else changed, like higher or lower humidity in the area of the printer? Were the checks exposed to high heat?
Nope!! Everything is the same as it has been in the past! Is there any other way to INCREASE the STRIKE-THROUGH impact??? When I write the checks BY HAND this problem goes away!!
