1 x Intel BOXD865GLCL S478 800 / 533 / 400FSB SATA RAID SOUND DDR400 / 333 8XAGP LAN UATX £77.45
2 x Crucial PC2700 256mb DDR CL 2.5 184pin DIMM £63.98

1 x Maxtor 6Y120M0 120gb Serial ATA 8mb Cache 7200rpm £74.81
1 x Panasonic Floppy Disk Drive Black 1.44MB 3.5 inch internal - OEM £4.98
(i have a liteon cdrw and a audigy soundcard ready togo)
Carriage £3.99
Subtotal £625.62
VAT £109.53
Order Total £735.15
i read somewhere that i could get the Intel BOXD865GLCL board to clock at the 875 version with a bios update. Also something about getting the PAT on aswell.
Also, i figured that the 2.4 could be overclocked a fair bit, so ive added 4 case fans and a nice coolmaster CPU fan.
Any advice on dual channel ddr, the board say support for dual channel ddr 400. Does that mean i would need to get some 400/PC3200 sticks on will the PC2700 still take advantage of that?
(EDIT/ADD) The ebuyer 400w PSU, its had good reviews and seems to be powerfull enough and im not overly fussed about the noise. If it really is cack can any one recomend a cheap alternative.
Any other advice is also welcome.
regards all
James
