I just read about ParkerVision last night at Tom's Hardware. Today, I
picked up their WLAN1500 wireless PC LAN card at my local CompUSA. It is an
excellent card, and their software if not only easy, but very useful! Now
I'm tempted to try their WR1500 wireless router. They're making some
guaranteed performance claims!

Check them out:

I did. FCC ID pointed to:
https://gullfoss2.fcc.gov/prod/oet/cf/eas/reports/ViewExhibitReport.cfm?mode=Exhibits&RequestTimeout=500&calledFromFrame=N&application_id=429185&fcc_id='JFE-D2D00003'
Looking at the inside photos, it has diversity antenna connectors, but
they only use one RF port. Seperate piggy back RF board. Chips by
ZyDas:

The USB version has an interesting looking antenna.

but no easy or obvious way to attach an external antenna. Dunno.

PCMCIA version is similar:

I've seen them and the word puffery comes to mind..
Where are the power and receive sensitivity figures?

The links that Jeff Liebermann posted, from the FCC testing, tell the whole
story.
