Tried everything, using z170 Asus Maximus VIII Formula mobo 6700k, and, here's where my problem is, a Samsung nvme 950 pro M.2 drive. There are no other drives connected, and bios recognizes the device but will not let me install windows 10( or 7 for that matter). Can you help a guy out?

What exactly is "will not let you install Windows"? Is the BIOS jumping out of the computer and beating you with a stick every time you try to run the Windows setup? Or is there an error message or some other thing that is happening? How are you trying to install Windows, USB, DVD? What is "tried everything" exactly? If you tried everything there is nothing left to try, so you may as well go out for tea at this point rather than spend more time on it.

When I was installing my Samsung SM951 I was getting an error message saying Windows couldn't set up the partition or some such wording....I luckily had a spare ssd available that was blank and used that to install Windows 10 and use the sm951 as the secondary drive....went through without a hitch and then done I was looking at the disk management section and saw that Windows did recognise the sm951 and had a partition there, so I deleted it's volume and that made it all an un-allocated space....so then I simply shut down the computer and removed the spare ssd to then retry installing Windows 10 onto the sm951 which went through without a hitch.
