Hi all,
Just a quick question, how much space should I allocate for a w2k pro partition with all service packs/updates etc?

Thanx again..

Sorry, but sometimes there really isn't a quick answer, even for a quick question.

May I suggest you do some extra reading on the subject, and then decide what is best for you, depending on the file system you choose to use, and the size of your hard drive, the programs you wish to install, and your habits as a user. You could allocate a fairly small amount of space for the file system, say, under a gigabyte, but that might not be the wisest decision, IMHO.

I know that this series of articles is extensive, but you should have a much better idea of what is best for your particular situation after checking it out.

Everyone has a different opinion on the subject, but I think you would be best served by making your own accessment after perusing the material.
