Hi! A while back I tried to dual-book Ubuntu and Windows 10. I decided after a few days I didn't like Ubuntu and I went back to Windows 10. However, I'd split my 1TB HDD into 2 roughly 500 TB partitions. I need to merge those partitions, however, because my Windows 10 partition is filling up. They aren't adjacent and I need help on how to merge them. There's a 1Mb partition between them that is 100% free that I've considered deleting in order to merge the partitions, but I don't know if it's safe. The old Linux partition is to the right of my main partition, again separated by that 1mb partition, and it's completely erased. I would like to do this as safely and as hassle-free as possible. . Thanks in advanced!

an option if you have an issue like this again is 3rd party software that will do this even when windows refuses to. i have used it many times to get around windows when it is being a pain.

https://www.partitionwizard.com/ this is the one i use for such instances.
