Question PassFab 4WinKey Not Writing to a CD/Reader Issue

I was trying to make a bootable CD with PassFab 4WinKey, and I noticed the strangest thing.
I chose my dvd drive, and an error comes up (I've tried several other blank cds and dvd too): "D disk does not have write permission, please change a burning disk!"
Is something wrong with my dvd player or what?
I can open the blank drive just fine and see it in the drive list too.

What model is the optical drive? Have other burning utilities been tested (even Windows' basic burning tool built into File Explorer, under the Send to drop-down in the right-click context menu)?

Another program burned to the disc just fine, so not sure what's up with that particular program. Had to use a usb instead.

Dear customer,

You need to check whether you are using a rewriteable CD / DVD, if not, please replace it with a rewriteable CD / DVD.

If it still fails, you can upgrade the version and try to burn with USB.
