After 1 weeks of running, my pc started to give a continue "beep" alert every time I started a game (eg. Dota2, Mass Effect 3).

I did a few test:
-Furtest, GPU benchmark. Beeping sound was never heard while only GPU was under stress. No temperature warning, no nothing.
-Moving huge loads of data on HD and SSD: Beepend 1 second in a 20min of test.
-MemTest, RAM speed test. If asked to test 400mb of RAM, beeps often and at 90% start a continuous beep. If more instances of the test are open (as it is usally done to test all RAM at once) a continuous beep start as soon as the third instance is started.

By this I thought my problem was in my RAM.

This platform has been running since 2009, and a week ago I changed a few components (RAM from 3x1gb 1033MHz to 3x2gb 1333MHz; GPU from gtx 260 to gtx 760; added one SSD 180GB). Also to note I just moved the rig to another town so it could have got some concussions, but I doubt it.

Now, I'm quite far from home so I dont have many spare parts to try what's wrong in my machine, and I'd like to know if the problem really is in the ram before going to the shop to have it replaced.

SPECS:

OS: Microsoft Windows 7 Ultimate
MOTHERBOARD: Gigabyte GA-EX58-UD4P
CPU: QuadCore Intel Core i7 920, 2800 MHz (21 x 133)
GPU: Gainward GTX 760 Phantom
RAM: Patriot DDR3 1333MHz 6GB
PSU: Thermaltake 775W

Drive #1 - WDC WD15EARS-00MVWB0 (1397 GB)
Drive #2 - INTEL SSDSC2CT180A4 (167 GB)

edit: the "beeps" does not match any code or follow any pattern, so I dont think it is a motherboard issue. Also PSU has been somewhat problematic on this machine, but after the installation of this 775W everything ran just fine for years.

Slots are the right ones, and I checked every ram individually but the problem is still there. (I put every ram in the first slot and checked with MemTest in turns)

Ram works fine, the only thing is this warning. Eg. MemTest find no errors and games plays well, but I'm worried about the alert sound.

I checked every connection to the motherboard and every fan. I pulled out every component and put it back in to be sure.
Alert sound is still there.

*sigh* sorry rolli, but your advice about temperature was right. CPU dissipator is partially detached and last time I checked temperatures it was ok because I put the pc horizontaly. Now I checked temps again and noticed that this time they where damn too high, 69° on startup, with 70° as bios waringi level. I'll try to put it back in place, and report back the problem asap.

Detached Dissipator, that was the problem. Luckily I got some thermal paste at hand and I can fix it with no further ado. I'm sorry about the fuss I raied for this but thanks to everyone for the help.
