Still puttering around on Ivy-Bridge, I really need to start building again, been very happy with my Patriot Intel Extreme Masters 1866MHz OC to 2400MHz, so this would be a great place to start again with.

Don't feel so bad that you aren't eligible, there's a whole heap of mods and a quite large community, that's part of Tom's even, that's over in Germany area, that aren't eligible either.

Tom's might be world wide, but customs officials are quite picky about their borders.

Can you not send RAM over some borders? Was curious because I was thinking of sending some old ram to someone.

Nahh, you are good, you are a private individual so are only bound by what a mail carrier disagrees with, such as batteries, drugs, animals etc. Purch Group Inc. (owner of Tom's and some others) is a corporation, so the giving and awarding of prized/gifts etc falls under a bunch of other legal mumbo jumbo that happens to include taxes, customs, import/export regulations etc. Totally different from you as a private individual sending some ram to somebody.
