Payday 2 Low Framerate

When I first downloaded Payday 2 I had an amazing frame rate on ultra, but now I have been only getting 15 frames per second no matter what settings.
I also have the latest drivers.

I changed nothing I just got after playing different game, then suddenly my frame rate was staying low every time I played the game.

How's the overall system ram usage when you're playing? When i start hitting close to the cap, my frames start becoming quite choppy.

No, only Payday 2. I have been running Battlefield 3, Battlefield Hardline, Borderlands 2, and Tomb Raider at good settings.

No, only Payday 2. I have been running Battlefield 3, Battlefield Hardline, Borderlands 2, and Tomb Raider at good settings.

I think I found a solution. It looks like the game may be locking the framerate to 15fps. Read this thread HERE Post #174 and onwards especially.

I have not been getting 15 fps but ever since the last update on some maps my frame rate is choppy especially on a white xmas. I am wondering why this is as I have an R9 290X that runs battlefield 4 at above 60fps on ultra
