PC 1000€ budget for gaming/productivity

Hello guys first time building a PC for me.
Basically i am on a 1000€ budget for building a PC for 1080p gaming/productivity.

I am considering parts like a gtx970/390x, which one would be a more "futureproof" option?
For CPU should i go i5 4690k or 6600k?
PSU, mobo etc would be chosen after picking a GPU+CPU.

I am open for any component recommendations other than the ones I listed, thanks in advance

the r9 390 will be more futur proof compare to the ``expensive for nothing `` gtx 970
the new skylake seem to be more powerfull then haswell refresh...
a good psu like seasonic/xfx/antec hcg-truepower-edge / evga b2-g2-gs will do the job
a 650W and up is necessary
