Hello. I'm building my first computer, I have been having troubles getting it to work...I'm not posting to ask for help on building. (not yet at least) But, I noticed on the box for my PSU it says "Intel Form Factor ATX12v V2.3" under "type" I was just wondering if it was only for Intel build and not compatible for AMD. I already know people will want to know the rest of my hardware so ill post it:
CPU:
AMD FX-6300 6-Core 3.5GHz
GFX:
XFX Radeon HD 6870
Motherboard:
MSI 970A-G43
PSU:
PC-600-PCAR-e3
Case:
GIGABYTE GZ-F3HEB ATX Mid Tower Computer Case
RAM:
HyperX 8GB Kit (2x4GB) 1600MHz DDR3 PC3-12800 CL9 DIMM Desktop Memory, Black KHX16C9B1BK2/8 (Kingston)

If i may, Please try to refrain from saying things like " Why did you buy this" or "this is better" i'm on a fixed budget, and have the items, i would just like to know if the PSU is compatible. It is alright if you tell me something like the ram or gfx card will not work together or something like that, even though i'm almost certain they should all work together except for the PSU.

Thank you.

Hmmm Low-Quality? well i hope it will atleast keep the system some what cool anyways, Thank you for your reply.

Ohh. funny, i got it all running now, and was wondering if it should be plowing cool air out. I mean, honestly unless you think it will ruin my system somehow i dont think i will replace it.

Well, it can easily ruin your system. It has a VERY poor protection circuit, so if it did fail (likely), it will overvolt and ruin all of your components. I lost a GPU like this one time. Learned my lesson fast about crap PSUs. I would not risk my system.

Do you suggest any other PSU with the same Wattage (600) that is in the same price range? I can't spend too much more than what this one was, Which was around $55.00

Ok cool, doens't seem too expensive, but a dumb question.....Does the 50 less watt matter at all?

Wow...Well thank you for helping me out. i will be buying it very soon and returning my cooler master.
