Recently my PC has been doing this thing where whenever it plays games it starts to slow down heavily, including the system and the audio stutters into a horrible sound, and it either the entire pc freezes and doesn't crash, just stays there until I reboot the pc, I once waited for 15 mintues and it did not unfreeze, or continues on as normal.
I reinstalled my drivers and it seems to continue happening, does this mean I have to replace one of my components?

What PC ? There are literary hundreds of thousands combinations that are PC !!!

It's a bit old and slow for most demanding games but first thing is to check temperatures at load.
The thing is, I haven't been playing much demanding games. The most demanding game I've played was DMC5 and rblox, both of them have had this happen to me, and only recently, my monitor lost connection and just had a black screen.

Hello to you ... a few things for you to check

Somebody might say i am wrong but i think i spotted your problem , i googled your card on amazon and it only has 6gb of video ram. When a game struggles with video ram you will get stutter , you will get frozen screen but you wont always get a crash report. That said , if you look in reliability monitor you might seem a windows hardware problem report and that will be your card.

Look in device manager and see if their is a yellow triangle next to your card , if their is that will indicate your card is struggling or dying.

The only thing you can do is get a newer set up or put all your graphics setting to the lowest possible if if they look rubbish , if you still have a problem dont waste money upgrading just get a dedicated games rig.

Look for a card that has more than 8gb video ram

Normally I'd think of that but it happens in games that barely take up vram too...
