Today my PC started to get extremely laggy while being idle, started to get unresponsive and any apps couldn't be opened. I couldn't shut down or restart so I had the only option to shut it down by holding the power button. After a few hours, I had the same issue but it wasn't lagging at all, I was able to close any apps but not open them, and just like I mentioned before the only choice I had, was to shut it down by holding the power button. After that, I benchmarked on Cinebench, and Cyberpunk 2077 with no unusual results, I uninstalled the latest Windows quality update, checked my drivers, and scanned my system for any corrupt files with no results. Later I opened YouTube on Chome and the same happened again. I have no idea what's causing this, as this is the first time such a problem has occurred to me.

PC Specs:
Ryzen 5 5600
RX6650XT
Gigabyte B550M Aorus Elite
DDR4 8x2 3200MT/s
Samsung 980
MWE 650 Bronze V2

Suggest you open task manager and monitor performance and see if that gives you any clues when the problem occurs.
