Question PC blinks once but stays off

Hi everyone,

once I hit the power button the PC blinks once and powers off.
If I unplug the 2 4pins cpu connectors it starts (with a black screen obviously), but once it's plugged back in the PC blinks and stays off.
If I unplug the graphics cards it Boots but once back it sometimes doesn't boot.

I've tried :

• removing all parts.
• boot with one RAM stick

MSI X99A SLI PLUS, I75820K, GSKILL 4x8Gb 2666MHZ, CoolerMaster 1000W.

I'm wondering if the issue comes from the cpu, the mobo or the PSU...

Any help would be appreciated !

you are describing a dead MB. of course it should be double checked.

Thank for your answer.

I have something new, when the PC starts it reboot and displays that the overclock failed and that I need to go to the BIOS settings.

The tricky part comes here, once in the BIOS I just hit the escape button on my keyboard and leave the settings this way (I've tried changing BIOS settings, even reset to default before with no success) and then the PC boot properly !

How can I check the MB?
