One day before this happened there was a split second power outage. I plugged my power cable out then back in and proceeded to game on it with no problems. The next day I was gaming and my pc crashed to a complete grey screen. I rebooted and played again and then it crashed to a greyish brownish screen with stripes. After that, everytime I attempted to reboot, I'd get a normal cmos beep, bios would show and HDD would be reading then after bios splash it would go to a black screen for eternity until powered down with no HDD activity. I tried reformatting to Windows 10 as I had 8.1 before thinking that maybe windows was corrupt but after I got into the windows 10 setup the black screen came back to haunt me. To clear things up, the LED lights of the monitor are still on when the black screen appears. All fans and everything is working properly, temperatures are definitely not the issue as I monitor them very closely. I restarted my pc after the black screen appeared after the win 10 setup and it actually booted to Windows 10 to desktop normally, I went on the Internet to download drivers and the black screen appeared and now windows won't boot again and I'm basically back to the start. Help would be appreciated, I'm quite knowledgeable when it comes to my pc as I built it and it's not a loose wire or temperature issues or something of that sort. I'm pretty sure it's a hardware issue just not sure what it is.
P.S when I'm in the windows recovery page or even when Windows 10 started, there were 2 big blue bars that looked like artifacts running vertically down the screen. So maybe that means it's the gpu? If so why does the cmos beep like nothing is wrong with hardware and why does the HDD stop reading at the black screen
