Hello Everyone,

I need a little help with building a PC mainly for using Adobe Software, with Maya/Blender and other animation related softwares in mind.

The build I came up with is as follows:

CPU: I'm torn between the Ryzen 2700x and 3600x the former seems to be better for workstation stuff...

GPU: I'm also unsure here, if a 1660 TI would be enough or should I get a 2060

RAM: Kingston 2x8GB HX432C16FB3K2/16 3200MHz DDR4 HyperX Fury Black

MB: GIGABYTE B450M DS3H

PSU: Chieftec Smart 500W CTGPS500A8

The problem is I can't really go much higher than ~1000 Euro, and this build cost around that much(if I also add the ssd/hdd + pc case)
Mainly I'd like to know which CPU/GPU should i chose from the above and if in your opinion would this build be enough for a few years?

Solution
The 2700X will be probably be a better choice for you application due to the extra cores.

For your GPU you'll probably have to look at benchmarks specific to whatever applications you plan on using to see if the cost is worth it.

That PSU is trash, as in honestly they should be sold trash. I know PSUs can seem expensive but something like a corsair CX550/CX550M, Seasonic Focus 550 or SeaSonic S12II 520. Heres a couple decet ranking lists of PSUs, I would stay Tier 3 or above.
