hello. I want to build a pc for everyday use (internet,1080p movies, etc (not for gaming)) and i think about this build :
i5 6500 with CoolerMaster Hyper 212 EVO to minimize noise
Asus H110M-A
corsair vs450 80plus ( yes im aware of cheap chinese capacitors but idgaf )
Samsung 850 Evo 500GB
HyperX Fury 8GB DDR4-2133MHz
and dont mind about the case
so.. what do you think? some of you may think that this i5 is an overkill but i wont buy gpu, its not very expensive, its powerfull and its low in tdp

A Hyper 212 Evo won't minimize noise any more than a stock fan will. What it would do instead is prevent air from recirculating inside your case. But it really isn't necessary to purchase with a locked CPU. I would definitely put more effort in getting a better PSU, because you don't want to run that kind of PSU with any decent GPU should you decide to get one later on.
OVERKILL. I have the exact same SSD. The PSU is good for non-gaming, perfect for your system. Ram is great as well. The SSD in my opinion is a bit too much storage for daily use?! I notice you don't have a graphics card, what's up with that? And the CPU is almost pretty ok for daily use. Everything is good except for the Evo SSD; if you have the cash get it, but for daily use I'd rather get a 120GB SSD, and keep movies on an HDD.

i told you i dont need gpu and i will stick with the intergrated. Also i will not get and secondary hdd and the ssd will be the main storage. To conclude i chose evo as its a future proof ssd as it doesnt lose performance

Then you are good to go 😀

His build is not for gaming so the VS450 is good enough. He probably doesn't need more than 250W with that build anyway. And if he does decide to get into gaming, he would DEFINITELY need to get rid of the VS crap 😀
