Hello all,
I am new here and looking for some opinions and advice. I am looking to upgrade my pc and I am not sure what route to go for the update. I have $250-$300 to spend. My current PC config is:
Case: NZXT H510
Motherboard: Gigabyte x470 Aorus Ultra gaming
CPU: ryzen 5 2600
RAM: Corsair vengeance rgb pro 2x8GB
Video Card: Nvidia geforce GTX 980
My thought is either the video card or the CPU. I have had issues with getting the XMP to work for my ram and I believe that is due to the CPU? I like to play games on the PC and will only be playing at 1080p for a while as I would need a new monitor as well. I don't have any kind of gaming monitor.
Any opinion is welcome but please give a reason behind your decision. thank you so much in advance!
