build for what?
is this just a web browser, media center, etc..?
Basic Office PC.. Opinion on value?CPU+Mobo+Ram for $150

What is the make/model of your case?
I presume you would reuse it.

What is your budget?

Back when, I built two office pc's using the I3-10100.
My impression was that it was surprisingly quick.
I loved the processor.
The 10105 is marginally quicker; but you would not notice.
I would buy the non F version for about $10 more.
Integrated graphics works well, even for HD movie playback.
No telling when an old GF210 will eventually fail.

The key to good quickness on a desktop is a SSD for the C drive.
Any ssd will do, so long as it is reliable.
I suggest a 500gb intel 660P m.2 pcie ssd for about $37:

Repurpose your HDD as an external backup device.

While 8gb will work, it would be wise to buy 16gb up front.
Adding 8gb later is not guaranteed to work properly.
Regardless, buy a 2 stick ram kit so you can run in faster dual channel operation.

The extra $70 or so would, in my opinion be very much worth it.
If nothing else, buy the ssd.
