Pc build reccomdations

Solution
I omitted a case and things like mouse and keyboard so that you may choose those yourself.
But here is my recommended build that'll get you great performance without going too expensive.

You can of coures, go higher in SSD storage but I put the 128 in there as the minimum standard for you to have your OS and some main applications on it. Games, pictures, videos, music, etc. should all go on the HDD since you don't benefit from the faster speeds in those things (and yes, I know it can shorten loading screen times in games but I've never had a problem with the length of a loading screen on my HDD. As long as the rest of the PC is fast it won't be an issue, and to pay a butt load more money for high capacity SSD for games just to make them load 2sec faster is absurd.)

Solution
My only change to the above would be to go for at least a 240GB SSD. 128GB will fill up quickly unless you keep a close eye on what Windows is doing.

Perhaps spend less on the the liquid cooler as well. The stock cooler is adequate for a mild overclock. Plenty of mid-range air coolers that are much cheaper that will do the job as well.

Why settle for less?

That's a horrible recommendation Finstar (although a nice build) it's more than the OP's budget by quite a bit. you forget that there are taxes for things or what? when someone tells you their budget, it means that's THE budget and you shouldn't go over it cuz then they can't afford it. if they went for less SSD and a 1060 6GB with that build then sure It fits in the budget nicely.

WOW i didn't know £2 is something you need to drop a SSD and GPU by 2 tiers for!
Fyi taxes have already been applied to the prices and there's no import fees, so i really don't know what you're talking about

Taxes aren't really put in my friend (sadly) in my build the 1800x is $229 but atleast where I'm from we have 12% tax that would make it around $258

@xSimply1337x - while I have nothing against the ryzen 1600 your build is honestly horribly thought out.

Low end board, over expensive cooler, totally unnecessary.

For less money you can get a better board , a 250gb ssd & a 1070.

@officualgamingwizard

Do you need full system ?

Keyboard,mouse,monitor etc.

What resolution & refresh rate are you looking at using for if so?
Has a massive bearing on system balancing between cpu & gpu at the end of the day.

Higher refresh rates ?? Intel
Higher resolutions at 60-75htz ?? Save money with ryzen & buy the best gpu you can afford.
