PC BUILD vs Acer Predator Helios 300 please help

Good Day every one. Just wanna ask if this build will do because I was actually planning on buying the Acer Predator Helios 300 but it would cost me about 6k (my country's currency) less than this build so I thought it would be better to just save 6k and buy this build. Building you own System is ALLWAYS cheaper as buying prebuilt. That is a solid build.

IMO, GTX 1080 and Ryzen 5 1600 are both superior to GTX 1060 and i7-7700HQ unless you are playing at 1080p (way more FPS won't make any difference in gameplay). Please note that Ryzen 5 1600 will bottleneck GTX 1080 in few single-threaded games unless overclocked.

IMO, GTX 1080 and Ryzen 5 1600 are both superior to GTX 1060 and i7-7700HQ unless you are playing at 1080p (way more FPS won't make any difference in gameplay). I was actually suppose to pick the Samsung SSD but I only needed 250gb and plus WD is much cheaper. Also will the stock cooler be enough when I overclocked?

It is enough to an extent (light overclocking to 3.7–3.9GHz). You might need an after-market cooler; a budget one will be sufficient.
