Hey I’m currently 16 and I have found a passion for building pcs and all things to do with the hardware in them, is there a career path or job that is essentially building pcs or something similar? Thanks in advance

There technically is, but profits are slim. It's why nowadays PC services are so much more expensive, because it's the only way shops can sustain themselves.
If you worked in a larger company like PC Specialist, you'll lose all love for it as it's not the same.

Hate to be the downer on this, but it's incredibly difficult nowdays, and typically it's the services that people pay for.

The people who aren't comfortable building a PC will often just go to a big name who can get cheaper products through contractual agreements, or will buy one off the shelf, and the others just build them themselves.

As a single operator, no. You can't compete with places like BestBuy on price or service.

As a 'job', that is a factory assembly line thing. You spend the soul crushing day screwing in power supplies, and then that box moves down the line to the next person.

There is no money in it. Minimum waged Chinese workers churn PC out by the millions.

So u say you just gonna built for the wealthy. Wealthy people want the complete package, white-glove service and be kissed on the a**, is 90% kissing and 10% actual hardware. Welcome to the real world.

Like hardware? get a certification, get a job as an electronics tech. Want to be a designer? will need an engineering degree for that.

Look, there is a business scheme. Buying used components and assemble this PC and then sell it. Due to the fact that it is used components you can throw off the price, therefore, people who do not have much money can afford to buy a normal PC.
We can buy a Dell or similar refurb from Dell or BestBuy Outlet, including a known valid Windows OS, including a warranty, for under $250.

That's near impossible to compete with at the low end.
Just including a valid OS for the buyer will cost you $100.

There's a lot of landmines here. Unless you buy in bulk, you won't get much of a discount. And you don't have the name brand cache boutique builders do to justify the price hike. Then there's the hazard of dealing with warranty claims, shipping headaches & logistics, and parts you break. I've broken a couple parts and that came out of my pocket making a net negative for me. Are you prepared for all that?

Even today, PC's are so cheap people would rather just buy a new pre-built PC over repairing old ones. They think of PC's like cars.
