My i5-3570K and GTX 970 handle a heavily modded Skyrim loaded with 4K and HD textures. This system should have no problems with it. It'll handle any other modern game at 1920x1080 as well.

Gpu wise, a 1060/1070 is enough depending on 60/144hz.
But for lots of mods, the i7 is recommended.
