PC Case Full or Mid Tower

I'm building a new pc and was wondering if a mid tower or full tower would be better for this build.

The CM 212 EVO in my current case (NZXT Phantom full tower) barely fits perfectly. The side panel of it almost touches the top of the fan so I'm thinking if it needs a full tower or would it be fine with a mid tower.

go for full tower if you can afford it and have the room for it

It depends on the case. Many mid-towers will accommodate the Hyper 212. If you throw a case into pcpartpicker, it will let you know if it doesn't fit, though I would doublecheck the measurements myself before ordering.
