pc case modding

My pc case has a side panel on both sides for cable management but I have no cable management holes so my assumption is that was intended for modding, what tool should I use to do this mod?

Wrong assumption, many cases have both removable side panels. One other thing to watch out for, see if there's enough space between back cover and back plate for MB as cables may be too thick to fit in there.
