Why am I seeing this?

Have you run AV? Malwarescan?

Does it happen randomly or at startup or after opening/closing anything in particular?

I have seen something like this reported in last few weeks but not sure of what it is yet

Yes, I ran avast and malwarebytes.

It happens to me randomly.

I think it's a virus, I'll try to get rid of it.
