Hi, this is my first post on the forum as I've stubbornly tried to fix any problems myself until now.
My custom built PC had been suffering from many crashes and random restarts both with and without error messages for a long time now. The restarts would happen at seemingly any time from booting up, a few moments after logging in, and non graphic intensive activities.
The most recent series of crashes would display alternating kernel related errors via the Blue Screen of Death.
I tried many methods to solve but none worked, including driver updates, scans, disk checks, memory tests, removing unnecessary hardware (keyboard, mouse, graphics card).
I decided to start fresh and eventually managed (in spite of the random restarts) to format my SSD and install a fresh copy of Windows 10.
Despite a fresh install there is a new problem that has my stumped.
The issue is that on boot or a few moments after the screen becomes red and pixelated (see images below) and the PC either freezes or freezes and restarts. I am officially out of ideas at this point and any guidance would be appreciated. I do not have a spare computer to try the remaining hardware components in a different setup.

Case: NZXT h700i
Motherboard: ASUS B150 Pro Gaming Aura
RAM: 16GB (2x8) DDR3
CPU: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-7700K CPU @ 4.20GHz (8 CPUs), ~4.2GHz
Cooler: Kraken X72 Liquid Cooler
Graphics Card (not currently installed): Geforce GTX 1070
Software
OS: Windows 10
Other: n/a, fresh install
