Question PC crashes and won't turn off.

Hello,

It has been almost half a year now since I build my current PC and since a week or 2 it started acting up.
First the PC crashed, I was playing a game with a friend with Skype and I lost screen input and my friend said skype was also gone so it is not only my screen output that stops.
It mostly happened when playing Rainbow Six Siege (I don't know if this is usable info, just trying to describe it with enough detail.) Now my PC randomly crashes whilst just browsing the internet and I cannot turn it off with the power button. I have to switch off the PSU and pull the plug, wait a few seconds and I can turn it on again with the power button. The power button stays unusable when i don't pull the plug and wait a few seconds.

Specifications:

ASUS prime X470-PRO
AMD Ryzen 7 2700X @4150MHz (I set the multiplier down from x42 to x41.5 because I thought maybe this was the issue)
GTX1080 founders edition (Bought secondhand:nomouth:) with CableMod vertical GPU mount
2x8GB Gskill TridentZ RGB DDR4 I believe it was 3200MHz
Corsair H100I Platinum RGB cooler
Samsung 970EVO M.2 SSD
Cooler Master 800Watt PSU (few months old)
NZXT H700 case
and I added an USB hub from NZXT to run my RGB lighting node because I didn't have enough USB ports.
Windows 10

I hope someone can help me fix my problem, If I have to provide any more info please tell me.

Kind regards,

NekoStirling.

The power button shutdown issue - does that also apply when not in windows (i.e. in bios menu) ?

Did you overclocked (assume yes since you mentioned downclocking) ?

The RGB seems to have some power issues (just saw another guy on this forum where computer died after connecting rgb) - try to disable and see how it works over time.

Hello,

What do you mean with not in windows? my power button works just fine, but stops working after the pc crashes.

Only overclocking I did was increasing the multiplier a little but this worked fine for months without problem.
I Have no RGB strips connected, however my RAM, motherboard, Fans and cooler block do have RGB built in. You mean turning those off? (Any more RGB in my build and I wouldn't even be mad if it crashed, it would have every right to haha).
