Question PC crashes on launching games

My PC crashes almost instantly when launching newer games such as Metro Exodus and Battlefield V. The system is new so this is the first time trying to run these games. However I have tried older games like Skyrim, Witcher 3, Metro 2033 and Last Light and all launched and played fine. However I did not test these for very long. The GPU I have is a Sapphire Nitro+ RX580 8GB. Could the gpu be DOA? Have tried multiple clean install of drivers.

120gb Kingston SSD boot drive
1Tb Toshiba HDD
Corsair tx650m psu

What are your temperatures like? You may have some instablilty. Update bios and drivers.

Temps are fine ran valley benchmark and was about 65 after about 10-15 minutes. Drivers are up to date and used ddu to uninstall previous drivers
