Hi guys, so yesterday while I was playing ME: Andromeda, after ~2h of gaming, the game started to stutter just a little at the beggining then at one point it "freezed" the PC.

I got some movement after waiting for 2-3 minutes but then it freezed again. After going forth and back for a bit, I tried to open the task manager and right before it poped up the screen went blue with some glitches / artifacts then the PC crashed and restarted on its own.

I went back to gaming for another hour and during this session didn't notice any anomaly in the temperature (~50C for the CPU, 70-74C for the GPU) at 99% usage of the GPU and ~80% of the CPU.

Any ideas where did it come from? I've noticed minor stutters since 2 weeks but this is the first crash and I think it might come from the GPU. Sorry for any broken English 😛

My specs :
windows 10 64bit
cpu ryzen 3 1200
mobo gigabyte ab350m gaming 3
gpu msi gtx 970 g1 gaming 4g
ram ripjaws V 2x8gb ddr4 2400
hdd wd blue 1tb
ssd crucial bx300 240gb
psu corsair tx650m
screen benq gw2406z

Solution
Sounds strange I had something similar but I had stutters in every game and fixed it by doing a fresh install of Windows.
I would recommend doing a fresh install of you graphics drivers and also checking driver manger to see if there is something missing.
Also why not do some general maintenance, PC can get neglected some times :)
Anti-Virus Scan + Malwarebytes is good addition to have with AV
CCleaner is quick and easy to clear cache and old files.

GL hopefully you can game once again

I've updated the GPU's driver and no more crash since then (hopefully..) the PC was built recently so I doubt that it was a windows issue. Nothing serious in the long term I guess, thanks for the help anw 😀
