[SOLVED] PC crashes when I increase FPS

Playing Fortnite and usually play at 60 FPS, wanted more frames because it's laggy at 60 FPS. When I turn it up to 120 FPS I can play for a bit and then my entire PC freezes but I can still hear the audio from the game and friends talking in-game. Literally have to push the button on my tower to shut down to restart.

Anyone know what would be causing the issue?

My bios is already up to date to 1.9

Have you done any overclocking?
Have you updated bios to the latest?
Drivers?
Any other software that might be new that could potentially cause the issue?

You're build shows your are on Windows 8.1 have you tried 10?

I would say at 120fps you are running out of vram with that video card. Try turning down shadows and shaders see if that helps.
