Hello there :)
My Pc crashes when i play games in fullscreen. since november last year my pc will reboot whenever, and no matter what games (even CSGO) I run all of my games at the lowest settings for the best fps and stability( been doing that forever).

The pc is 2,7 years old which makes it even more odd that it shows signs of faillure.
the specs are:
Coolermaster G650m, 650 w- Psu.
Intel i7-4790k- Processor.
MSI LGA1150 B85-G45 Gaming- Motherboard.
MSI geforce GTX 970 4GB Gaming PCI-E- Graphics Card.
HyperXfury DDR3 1600 MHZ 8 GB Ram.
Samsung DVD RW SH 224DB/RSMS, SATA Disc player.
Kingston SSDnow v300 480 GB 2.5" 7mm oem Harddrive.
Windows 10-64 bit Operating system.

I have run a memtest on my ram but there was no errors found.
Ive had my my GPU at a returned to the repair shop but they didnt find any errors.
My CPU doesn´t run over 1.112 core voltage and the temps on both GPU and Cpu are at
30-33 celsius and idle and 44-50 when under load.

My Psu is what i suspect to be the troublemaker since i can only run my GPU when underclocked (60% power limit), since that when i adjust the power limit in afterburner to default(100%),
the Pc crashes before the game is even booted.

I hope you guys can help me since i feel like Ive done all I could to figure out the problem.
Sincerely, a Gamer in need of help.

Well that PSU is more then enough to run the card so any issues with it (if any) is due to something being faulty.

Before replacing the PSU I would try some of the following:

1. Uninstall all video drivers using DDU tool and cleanly reinstall only most recent drivers for your GPU
2. If you have any overclocks, set everything back to defaults and see if issues continue
3. Ensure you are fully up-to-date with Windows Updates (including builds)
4. Run system clean up tools to ensure no virus's or malware is conflicting with your system. Try running, ccleaner, malwarebytes, adware removal tool, and a virus scan with your choice of AV protection. (AVG, Avast etc...)

Ive just tried all you said, yet it still crashes. I even tried to run a benchmark test to see if that would lead to anything... but my Pc crashes as soon as the test is about to begin. is this then an issue with the GPU?
