Question PC crashes when second monitor is plugged in ?

Up untill about a few weeks ago My setup ran just fine with dual monitors, but then it just randomly hard crashes the whole computer as if its struggling to run. It seems to only crash when i boot up a game though. even one as low as roblox will just hard crash it. I can have as many windows of stuff open as long as its not a game.

here are my specs, help appreciated:

RAM: 16.0GB Dual-Channel Unknown @ 1333MHz (19-19-19-43)

sorry for the late reply the PSU is an "APEVIA 1000WATT GOLD 80 PLUS" and its aproximately 4 months old as of purchase

As I suspected, you bought a poor quality PSU brand -- that might explain the gaming problem. It's not a brand we would ever recommend for a gaming rig.

Thank you, honestly I'm surprised it lasted ~4 months, running dual monitor and Cold War at max graphics.

Just so you know in the future, you were likely experiencing what is called rail drag where the lower-end PSU was causing the power going to your GPU to pulse hence causing your entire PC to misbehave. That's one of those things that they don't tell you can happen with cheaper PSUs.
