Hello everyone.
So yesterday I updated the BIOS on my PC witch I had built in january. I have never updated the bios untiltill now, this is how it came out of the box. The update(s) went smooth, first I went with the newest bios update version wich was in BETA. After 10 minutes it bluescreened in idle and crashed/restarted the PC in games. After this I went with a non beta version of a slightly older bios update. After still crashing I went back and updated the bios to the version wich it came out of the box. In the event viewer its allways the same, a bunch of errors and a kernel-power critical:
Log Name: System
Source: Microsoft-Windows-Kernel-Power
Date: 12/28/2024 7:08:01 PM
Event ID: 41
Task Category: (63)
Level: Critical
Keywords: (70368744177664),(2)
User: SYSTEM
Description:
The system has rebooted without cleanly shutting down first. This error could be caused if the system stopped responding, crashed, or lost power unexpectedly.
I have monitored and there is no sudden overheating or anything like that.
I have returned the PSU and got another of the same type, but it still crashes.
Specs:
PSU: Be quiet! PURE POWER 12 M 750W
CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 7600X
GPU: NVIDIA RTX 3070
Motherboard: ASRock B650M-HDV/M.2
RAM: 16GB 6000MHz DDR5 RAM Kingston Fury Beast CL36 (2x8GB)
Until this BIOS update everything was fine.
What should I do?
